Emily Sturgeon
Acupuncturist
Emily grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, IL. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater in 2004. After graduating, she worked at a pharmaceutical company in St Louis Missouri, and a precious metals company in Phoenix Arizona. Although Emily enjoyed working as a chemist, she realized her true passion was in Medicine and Human Services. She studied massage therapy and graduated from the Arizona School of Massage Therapy in 2008. She enrolled in the Master's program at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA in 2009. During her schooling, Emily was invited by her teacher Dong Ji to study for a month at a private clinic, Zhen Qi Tang, located in Gansu Province, China. She graduated with a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2014. She spent a few years working in an acupuncture clinic in Elizabethtown, Kentucky followed by a stint in Nashville before coming to Palmyra, Wisconsin. In September of 2018, Emily took a craniosacral therapy intensive study in Kathmandu, Nepal.
